Iconers! As you all know, Madonna’s Birthday is just 2 weeks away! This year, we would like to make it even bigger for our girl by presenting her with a gift that is all about music and love, but most importantly, something that comes straight from her beloved Iconers…
Are you ready to join the 2009 Birthday Project? Let us tell you more about it first: Madonna has just released a brand new single as part of her ‘Celebration’ Greatest Hits. Guess you’ve probably downloaded it already; so, why not use it as a way to wish her a Happy Birthday?
If you have a camera and an Internet connection, then you can get involved! Just record yourself dubbing the “Celebration” single, upload your video file to Youtube or Daily Motion and e-mail the link to icon@moov-u-mail.com before August 13 at 11:59pm PST. Please include your full member info and use “M Birthday Project” as your e-mail’s subject line. Also, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DUB THE VERSION THAT IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON ITUNES, NOT A REMIX!
We will create a montage out of the collected clips and present it to Madonna on August 16. The video will also be available from the site’s homepage on the same day.
